The St. Anthony’s Friars traveled down the Northern State Parkway to play the Holy Trinity Titans in Hicksville.

This Titans were no match for the Friars as St. Anthony’s controlled the tempo for the duration of the game. The Friars come out of the locker room with offensive fire power that managed to score five goals. They also did not allow any goals in the first quarter.

St. Anthony’s continued the second quarter the same way as the first and did not give up a goal in the first half. The only goal for Holy Trinity was scored by Lang in the third. The game ended 14-1, with eleven Friar players finding the back of the net.

Game Notes:
Matt Koerner scored a game high three goals and one assist
Greg Galligan scored two goals

This was not a close game, but thus far, St. Anthony’s has demonstrated passion, leadership, and chemistry as they continue to power through the beginning of their schedule. They are currently ranked #8 on the DigitalSports National Lacrosse Rankings and keep moving up. They look to continue their winning ways against the Immaculata Spartans Monday, April 1st.
